Tierra began quietly, the way most meaningful things do.

After years as a wedding photographer—capturing people’s most important days—I found myself craving something that felt more like mine. Something slower. Something intentional. Something rooted.

I’d run a wax melt business during the early pandemic years, and while it was successful for a time, it eventually faded. The joy got buried under logistics and housing moves, and when the orders stopped coming, I let it go. But the idea never really left. The ritual of choosing a scent, the quiet satisfaction of creating something with my hands—it stayed with me.

In late 2025, I started again. But this time, differently.

This time, I began with the branding I actually loved. With scents that felt intentional, not rushed. With a name that meant something: tierra, Spanish for earth. A reminder that everything we make comes from somewhere, and we owe it care.

Tierra is earth-inspired and earth-kind. Every product is vegan, cruelty-free, and hand-poured in small batches. We use sustainable ingredients wherever we can, and we’re honest about the rest. We’re not perfect, but we’re thoughtful. We’re not mass-produced, but we’re consistent.

This isn’t about filling your home with more. It’s about creating space for quiet, for presence, for the kind of calm that only comes when you slow down long enough to notice.

Tierra launched in March 2026 with 54 people on a VIP list — people who believed in something before it even existed. That’s the energy we’re building from: small, intentional, real.

My vision is to build a business that doesn’t burn me out. One that values sustainability and slowness, even when the world pushes for more, faster, bigger. One that grows not because I rushed it, but because I built it right.
